What now?

Ruby wanted to try growing pumpkins, even though it was the wrong time of year.

We started with cutting open a pumpkin and filling it with dirt. We had several spouts but the cold weather kept killing them.

She found a stray seed and brought it inside to plant in one of my kitchen window pots.



Now we have this nice pumpkin vine and I'm wondering what we do with it now. I'm considering repotting in a milk jug and hoping to move it outside in about a month. I'm completely clueless on pumpkin growing.

Anyone have any suggestions?
